The world-renowned architect Philip Johnson (AT&T Headquarters, Glass House, etc., now in his 90s) is from Cleveland (still having family there) and while there to unveil some sculptures he created for CWRU, a few years back, he offered to provide Cleveland the world’s most innovative school of architecture, which Cleveland is lacking. He proposes a unique curriculum and I imagine may provide quite a remarkable design, if still able. Tell me a more remarkable anchor for Cleveland’s lakefront, a better attraction of outside talent, and a stronger addition to our mix of resources.
